A Few Reasons Why You Should Consider Selling During the Holiday Season
Is selling a home during the holiday season a bad idea? Not really, and here are a few reasons why.
I know that we’ve entered into the holiday season and the winter months, and most sellers out there feel like this isn’t the best time to list their home. With so much going on during this time of year, it might feel overwhelming and you’d rather wait until spring when the market is more active.
However, remember that every other seller is thinking the same thing. What tends to happen is that as we settle into the new year and enter the spring market, every seller feels that it’s the perfect time to sell their home. That leads to a massive increase in inventory and it means much more competition for you.
In reality, the holiday season is a wonderful time to sell your home for a few different reasons. First, inventory levels are at an all-time low. The buyers that are out in the market won’t be as picky because of limited options.
"The buyers we tend to see during this time of year are strong buyers."
Another reason why now is a great time to sell is that many people may be looking to relocate around this time of year to be closer to their families. The buyers we see during this time of year are strong buyers, and they are looking to make a decision sooner rather than later.
We’re still in a strong seller’s market here in the Triangle Area. If you are curious about what your home is worth and what it could sell for in today’s market, text “Listing” to “555888” and we’ll send you a link where we can give you an accurate home valuation.
