We’re Here To Educate You About the Home-Buying Process
Here’s why you need to understand the home-buying process as a buyer..
It’s a new year—are you thinking about buying a new home? Maybe you’re buying your first home or moving in from another state. If so, we would love to share a copy of our home-buying process with you. If you’re going to buy a home, you need to understand all the terminology and steps involved. The last thing we want is for you to find the perfect home, but not be able to make a competitive offer.
You need to understand the full home-buying process before you start looking at houses.
For example, North Carolina is a buyer-beware state. You can back out at any point in the process, but you might lose some money by doing so. There’s also something called due diligence money, which is a way of showing the seller that you are serious. You put some money aside, and if you back out, you immediately lose all of that money. We’ve seen buyers pay anywhere from $10,000 to $100,000 in due diligence money.
That's why you need to understand the full process as a buyer. Whether you’re a first-time or out-of-state buyer, we would love to educate you before you even begin. If you would like a copy of our home-buying process guide, give us a call at 919-578-3128 or visit our website. You can also text SAVVY to 21000 to find out the value of your home. We look forward to hearing from you.
